Shaykh-ul-Islam Mawlānā Ḥusain Aḥmad Madanī began leading the maghrib salah at Meerut train station when the train horn blared. Majority of the participants broke their salah and boarded the train. However, Ḥaḍrat Madanī peacefully completed the salah, supplicated and then boarded the train with great ease. One of his special attendants was surprised and enquired as to why he wasn’t disrupted like the others upon hearing the horn?
Ḥaḍrat Madanī simply replied, “If I was to hear the horn, then I would have also acted the same!”
